Spectrum Aware Routing in Cognitive Radio Network
نویسندگان
چکیده
Cognitive radio technology holds great promises in enabling unlicensed operation in licensed bands, to meet the increasing demand for radio spectrum. The (SDRP) Service differentiation routing protocol discovers minimum delay – maximum stability route in dynamic CRNs by considering the availability of spectrum opportunity in addition to switching delay and queuing delay. SDRP achieves better performance in terms of lower delay and higher throughput compared to other existing routing protocols across various scenarios. Keywords—Cognitive Radio Network, Throughput, End to End delay, Network overhead, Routing Protocol, SDRP.

Attack-Aware Cooperative Spectrum Sensing in Cognitive Radio Networks under Byzantine Attack
Cooperative Spectrum Sensing (CSS) is an effective approach to overcome the impact of multi-path fading and shadowing issues. The reliability of CSS can be severely degraded under Byzantine attack, which may be caused by either malfunctioning sensing terminals or malicious nodes. Almost, the previous studies have not analyzed and considered the attack in their models. The present study introduc...
متن کاملRouting Solutions in Cognitive Radio Network Using Local Network State Information
Cognitive Radio (CR) technology is introduced to solve the problem of spectrum usage inefficiency of wireless networks. CR technology allows sharing of licensed spectrum band in opportunistic and non interfering manner. However it should be aware of spectrum availability and Primary User (PU) activities. Routing and spectrum management are the main challenges in Cognitive Radio Network. Here ro...
متن کاملEnergy Aware Multipath Routing Protocol for Cognitive Radio Ad Hoc Networks
Cognitive radio networks (CRNs) have emerged as a paradigm addressing the problem of limited spectrum availability and the spectrum underutilization in wireless networks by opportunistically exploiting portions of the unused spectrum by licensed primary users (PUs). Routing in CRNs is a challenging problem due to the PU activities and mobility that are beyond the control of CRNs. On the other h...
متن کاملA Spectrum-Aware Routing in DOFDM-based Cognitive Radio Ad-Hoc Networks
With the rapid requirement and development of the green ICT (Information and Communication Technology) technology, the demand for dynamically radio spectrum resources has significantly attentions. The low utilization of licensed spectrum leads to the scarcity of the spectrum resource. The emerging cognitive radio (CR) systems become increasingly important in the wireless green communication. In...
متن کاملInterference-Aware and Cluster Based Multicast Routing in Multi-Radio Multi-Channel Wireless Mesh Networks
Multicast routing is one of the most important services in Multi Radio Multi Channel (MRMC) Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN). Multicast routing performance in WMNs could be improved by choosing the best routes and the routes that have minimum interference to reach multicast receivers. In this paper we want to address the multicast routing problem for a given channel assignment in WMNs. The channels...
